Keeping in view the immense benefits and reach of online courses in the present academic set-up when humanity is struggling is with COVID-19, the Teaching Learning Centre in collaboration with the Department of Political Science at Ramanujan College, University of Delhi is organizing Webinar on One Year of the Repeal of Article 370: Implications and Outcomes for faculty members, students, and research scholars of higher education on 5th August 2020.

Ramanujan College is a University of Delhi College located in the well-known area of Kalkaji, near Nehru Place in South Delhi. Ramanujan College has highly qualified, dedicated, and committed faculty members. The college runs fifteen courses in different subjects in Humanities, Commerce and Science streams.

Concept Note

On 5th August 2019, President of India in the exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution had issued the Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 2019, and thus altered the status quo of Article 370 itself. Article 370 in the Indian Constitution had always remained a moot issue of debate since its inception on October 17, 1949.

Now, it has been one year of the change in status quo vis-à-vis Article 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution is concerned, therefore it is imperative to see it through a fresh perspective in academics that how much it delivered and what concerns needs to be addressed in the times to come.

The webinar is open to all faculty members, research scholars, and students.
