With 2020 being the penultimate year to review India’s achievements with respect to the Aichi Biodiversity Targets adopted in the year 2011-12, the Environment Cell of the New Law College took upon itself to acquaint our students with it’s basic principles by organizing a Webinar on the subject

” An overview of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002″ on 30th May at 11:00 a.m.

The session will be very informative with our key note speaker Prof. Dr. Erach Bharucha, Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research, explaining in detail the basics and its other dimensions along with important provisions of the Statute. With Lockdown in effect, the whole programme was conducted online.
