ABOUT THE WEBINAR

This webinar aims at increasing awareness related to bank frauds, and how the world sees an increase in such organised crime rates. The digital transformations experienced by the country in the past few years, along with making life easier, has also give opportunities to trick and defraud bank customers. However, we are capable of taking preventive measures against such crimes by adopting some strategies. Such issues and much more shall be discussed by our guest speaker, and you would definitely earn a plethora of knowledge, understanding and experience to understand and deal with bank frauds.

GUEST SPEAKER

Adv. Chaitanya Bhandari, practicing lawyer in Aurangabad High Court and Dhule Session Court

Mr. Chaitanya Bhandari is a cyber law expert and a renowned lawyer. He is a practicing lawyer in Aurangabad High Court and Dhule Session Court. He has completed his high school from “Canossa Convent High School” and did his LLB from Dhule. He has also completed his International Cyber Law & Cyber Crime Investigation studies from Pune. After that in 2016, he became a director of Asian School of Cyber Law’s for Dhule, Nasik, Jalgaon, and Nandurbar Branch. He is a visiting guest faculty lecturer at various police training centers and police departments in Maharashtra. He has conducted various workshops for judges, lawyers, chartered accountants, banking & insurance, professors, and students.

In 2016, he was awarded by Maharashtra State Commission for Women for spreading Cyber Awareness in Tribal areas.

In 2018, he was awarded the Techno Legal Pioneers of India from Global Cyber Crime Helpline, Pune, India. He was also awarded the Youngest Author by his school Canossa Convent High School in the same year.

In 2019, he was awarded the Trendsetter of Technology of India from the Global Cyber Crime Helpline, Pune, India.

In 2020, he was awarded the Shiksha Ratna Award by MVLA Trust, Mumbai.

He is also an author of a book titled “Cyber Suraksha”. Till now, he has successfully given cyber crime awareness sessions to more than 40 lakhs+ people in India. His articles have been published in various newspapers of Maharashtra and he has been quoted by leading daily news papers like Lokmant, Sakal, Punaynagri, Deshdoot, Divya Marathi, Apla-Maharashtra to name a few.
