Essential Qualification
Full-time Three years LLB or Five years integrated Law/LLB course with not less than 60%
marks or equivalent CGPA as per the formula provided by the Institute/ University.
Age Limit
28 years as on 29.11.2023.
(Candidates should have been born on or after 29.11.1996 and on or before 29.11.2005)
Salary
Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/- along with IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay during training period.
On successful completion of training and upon regularization, the candidate will be absorbed as Officer (Law) in E2 scale – Rs. 50,000/- 3%- 1,60,000/- (IDA).

SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DEx-SM candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process
The selection process shall consist of CLAT – 2024 (for admission to post graduation) of eligible candidates, Document Verification, Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, Personal Interview & Pre-Employment Medical Examination
How To Apply
- Candidates have to register themselves and appear for CLAT 2024 (applicable for admission to post graduation). Online Registration for CLAT 2024 shall close on 3rd November 2023. For details on CLAT 2024, please visit CLAT 2024 (consortiumofnlus.ac.in).
- Application window for POWERGRID shall open from 9th November 2023 to 29th November 2023. Candidates have to register themselves online at POWERGRID website with details of their CLAT 2024 Application No. / CLAT Roll Number and other required information, which will be made available at CAREER>Job Opportunities section of www.powergrid.in.
- Candidates will be required to retain their CLAT 2024 Admit card/Hall Ticket for verification at the time of GD/ Interview / Joining in POWERGRID.
- Interested and eligible candidates should apply only through On-line Registration System of POWERGRID.
