ABOUT THE LEGAL PATRA:
Legal Patra is an initiative taken by law students to provide a platform for all other law professionals to gather ideas and legal knowledge at one place. In the furtherance, Legal Patra facilitates the transition of professionals from studying the theory to applying it.
It strives to bring the best talents in the legal world and allow them to convey their methods and ideas for the development of the professionals. In lieu, it conducts webinars, legal events, seminars, quizzes, article writing competitions etc. It is a source of judgments briefings, news updates and question banks for competitive exams.
This webinar is a step towards accomplishing the aim of this initiative.
ABOUT THE WEBINAR
The basic object of the Right to Information Act is to empower the citizens,promote transparency and accountability in the working of the Government,contain corruption, and make our democracy work for the people in real sense.It goes without saying that an informed citizen is better equipped to keep necessary vigil on the instruments of governance and make the government more accountable to the governed.The Act is a big step towards making the citizens informed about the activities of the Government.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Ajay Sir is the Dean of Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida, handling the academic administration for School of Data Sciences/ Animation/ School of law and teaching Law for LLM, LLB and five year Integrated programs in Law (BA LLB, BBA LLB) since July 2018. He has affiliations with Association for Women’s Rights in Development (Canada), International Association of Legal Ethics, Stanford (USA), International Association of Consumer Law and many others
