Working with 194 Member States, across six regions, and from more than 150 offices, WHO works with partners – governmental and nongovernmental – around the world to raise the profile of the preventability of road traffic injuries and promote good practice related to addressing key behaviour risk factors.
An initiative under Solve (a not for profit trust formed by the students and alumni of IIT Delhi, IRSC has been harmoniously working with the support of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Science and Technology, and United Nations Institute of Training and Research in its various endeavours.
You are invited to submit a paper on the pertinent issue of road safety, with a chance to present the paper at Delhi in December 2019 in front of a panel of experts from ministries and a possible chance to get it published by the World Health Organisation in 2020. The aim is to provide professionals, researchers, and practitioners a platform where they can present new research and development in the area of road safety and traffic in India.

How to submit your abstract
- You can take part individually or make a team of up to 3 people.
- Your abstract should not exceed more than 150 words (template attached to email)
- The deadline to submit your abstract is: 16th December 2019
- The abstract should be mailed to competitions.irsc@road-safety.co.in
- The abstract submission email should have the following email: Abstract submission_IRSC. Mention if you’re submitting it as an individual or as a team.
